Welcome to the Cambridge Futures website!

Cambridge Futures is a student-run careers and personal development society of Cambridge University.
We aim to offer information and guidance to any Cambridge University student interested in exploring post-education careers options.

*Welcome to Lent Term 2008!*

We have a very exciting set of events lined up for this term. They include presentations and workshops in Consultancy, Accountancy, Law and Science and Engineering, featuring companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Oliver Wyman, Accenture, CMS Cameron McKenna, L'Oreal and Capgemini.

All our events provide a networking session after the presentations and workshops to allow you an opportunity to chat with company representatives.

Many events focus on areas such as commercial awareness, interview techniques, case studies, and many more.

This is an ideal opportunity to obtain first-hand information about the company, the industry and also how to succeed in future applications.

Also coming up is our networking social event, where company representatives will come and chat to you about internship opportunities over free cocktails and nibbles!

28/02/2008 CMS Cameron McKenna - Negotiation Workshop : A Legal Perspective

Venue: Mong Hall, Sidney Sussex College
Time : 18:00 - 20:00 (Free Hot Buffet Provided)
Negotiating is a skill that you will use most days of your life. This session gives you the opportunity to learn about best practice in negotiating from international law
firm CMS Cameron McKenna. You'll then have the chance to try out your own skills in teams to try to get
the best deal for your 'client'. With feedback afterwards, this session will give you an invaluable insight
into the nature of negotiating, and also a taste for the work of a city law firm.
Catering : Free Hot Buffet served after presentation, provides an opportunity to chat with company representatives.
